Visitors to Agri-Expo Livestock can expect a world-class showcase of the South African livestock industry from Thursday 12 to Saturday 14 October 2017 at Sandringham, Stellenbosch, including the primary meat and dairy sectors as well as a display of the value chains of these sectors.

Agri-Expo Livestock has established itself as the most prestigious livestock event in the country, hosting the biggest dairy and beef interbreed competitions in South Africa. The highlight of the event is the crowning of the Dairy Queen and Red Meat King or Queen on Saturday, 14 October.

Programme activities include breed and interbreed championships, a regional Youth Show, beef cattle and milk goat information days, a Young Auctioneer Competition and an auction for miniature horses and donkeys.

The Groot Plaasproe on Saturday 14 October is aimed at the consumer to experience agriculture in all its pride. With delicacies such as cheese, wine, boergoat meat, sheep tails, tripe and more. This family day is an experience that everyone should attend and promises to be a fun filled day in the countryside.
