Beef cattle farmers and other interested parties can once again learn from the experts at the annual Beef Cattle Information Day on Friday 13 October 2017 during Agri-Expo Livestock at Sandringham outside Stellenbosch.
This year’s program once again includes speakers from across the country, such as Dr Gillian Declercq (State Veterinarian at the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) who will share her knowledge about ‘Boererate’ as a simple solution to common ailments in farm animals – ideal for small scale farmers who do not always have access to veterinarians.

The Beef Cattle Information Day takes place from 09:00 to 13:30 in the Agri-Expo Conference Centre. This information day is a project of Cape of Good Hope Agricultural Society (also known as Agri-Expo) aimed at promoting a positive image of agriculture.
